PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE
Dear Viewers KONGU ENGINEERING COLLEGE Conducting Hand Training Program. The purpose of this training is to describe about quantitative, qualitative, and mixed research methods in engineering research. The training programme is focused towards:
- Emphasize the need to carry out experimentation in a planned and scientific manner
- Use statistical techniques and software to analyze and interpret experimental data
- Illustrate the important role played by experimental random error on the results of the experiments and their interpretations.
- Develop mathematical models grounded on firm statistical foundations to the collected experimental data.
- Carry out process optimization using suitable experimental design strategies.
PROGRAMME OUTCOMES:
At the end of the training programme, the researchers will be able to:
- Analyze single factor experiments.
- Plan and optimize experiments using the Design of Experiments (DOE) and response surface Methodology (RSM) concepts.
- Apply the Taguchi concepts in robust parameter and process design.

REGISTRATION DETAILS
Registration Fee: Rs. 1145/- (Including 14.5 % Service Tax)
- The registration fee includes course materials, lunch and refreshment.
- Demand Draft for the registration fee payable at Perundurai must be drawn in favour of “IIP Cell grant-in-aid A/C”, Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai, Erode – 52.
HOW TO APPLY
- The applicants should send their applications in the specified format on or before 08.02.2016. If selected, they should confirm their participation in time.
- Registration will be made based on first come first serve basis.
- Number of participants is limited to 40 for the course.
