OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMME
Dear viewers M.KUMARASAMY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING Conducting Faculty Development Program. This FDTP provides a comprehensive overview and advanced knowledge of modern mobile and wireless communication systems. This programme aims at imparting in depth knowledge in the concepts of Wireless devices communicate without cabling.
Building on the prior knowledge on communication technology, participants develop further understanding on the challenges and opportunities brought by the wireless medium in designing current wireless communication systems.
TOPICS TO BE COVERED
- Overview of digital wireless communications and cellular concept.
- Interference and traffic analysis for cellular networks.
- Wireless fading channel modeling and characterization
- Equalization techniques and multi-carrier systems
- Spread spectrum techniques
- Receiver and transmitter diversity techniques.
- 2G and 3G standards
REGISTRATION DETAILS
- No registration fee for the participants.
- Participants will be selected on First come and First serve basis and the selected participants will be intimated through E-mail.
- The total number of participants is strictly restricted to 25.
- Priority will be given to young faculty members.
- No TA/DA will be given to attend the program.
- Participation Certificate will be provided to all the participants by the Centre for Faculty Development, Anna University, Chennai, on the successful completion of the programme.
