ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Dear viewers PSG College of Technology conducting workshop. The main objective of this workshop is to discuss and exchange ideas on present scenario in Indian metal casting industry. Though a lot of technology upgradations have taken place in the metal casting industries in India, still a lot more needs to be introduced in these industries to improve their performance. Skill development, adoption of environment friendly technologies, automation and energy management are some of the areas which need to be improved among the Indian foundries.

Following areas will be covered by the lectures in the workshop.
- Eco-friendly foundry techniques
- Metal casting simulation and casting process optimization
- Foundry technology for ferrous alloys
- Foundry technology for non-ferrous alloys
- Semi solid casting technology
- Automation in foundry processes
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
This workshop will be apt for Faculty and Research Scholars from Engineering Institutions with Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering background.
Practicing Engineers from various metal casting industries and general industries will also be benefited.
