OBJECTIVE OF PROGRAM
Dear Viewers Dr. MAHALINGAM COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY Conducting Workshop. The objective of this workshop is to create awareness among participants regarding the job opportunities that is existing in IT Industries and other sectors with respect to cloud computing & Big data with scenario and case study based presentation.

Day 1
- Introduction to Public and Private Clouds with LIVE industry based Usecases.
- Amazon AWS (EC2-Elastic Compute Cloud, EBSElastic Block storage,S3-Simple Storage Service)
- Amazon cloud security (Security Groups, Rule based Access Control, Public and Private Keys
- based security)
- Virtualization using vmware workstation12 (Creating Linux, windows server VM’s)
Day 2
- Introduction to BIG DATA with an Industry Based scenario
- Architectural Overview of Hadoop Framework
- HDFS, MAP REDUCE related concepts
- Introduction to Hadoop Eco System components (Hive,Pig,Sqoop,Flume)
- Installing and configuring Hadoop Single and Multi Node cluster using vmware and Amazon Public cloud
- Running a Map Reduce in Hadoop cluster
