ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Dear Viewers PSG COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY Dept. of Computer Science & EngineeringConducting NetSim is widely used for modeling, simulation and research in various networking technologies and protocols including Ethernet, Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANET), Wireless Sensor Networks, Cognitive Radio Networks, Wi-MAX Networks, LTE Networks etc. Performance metrics are provided at multiple abstraction levels including Network, Sub Network and Link by Link metrics. It provides some of the functionality such as packet capturing and analyzing, packet animation, detailed packet and event trace and custom code development and debugging.
This workshop is aimed to provide working knowledge about the following components of NetSim.
1. Netsim component– I: Internetworks
(Ethernet, wireless LAN: 802.11 a / b / g / e / n/ ac, routing: RIP, OSPF, TCP and UDP)
2. Netsim Component – Ii: Legacy Networks
(ALOHA, SL. ALOHA, CSMA / CD, TOKEN RING, TOKEN BUS, ATM, X.25, FRAME RELAY) MANET (Mobile Adhoc Network)
3. Netsim Component – III: BGP and MPLS Networks(Border Gateway Protocol And Multi-Protocol Label Switching)
4. Netsim Component – IV: Advanced Wireless Networks
(Mobile Adhoc Networks And Wi-Max)
5. Netsim component–V: Cellular Networks
(GSM and CDMA)
6. Netsim component–VI: WSN and PAN
(Wireless Sensor Networks and ZIGBEE)

For Faculty : Rs. 1000/-
The course fee includes working lunch
