ABOUT THE STTP
Dear Viewrs BANNARI
AMMAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Conducting Training Program. All engineered constructions resting on the earth surface must be supported by some kind of interfacing element, namely foundation. It is evident that the design of foundation is the very important part of a civil engineering project.
The objective of this STTP is to enrich the students, faculties and field Engineers regarding the appropriate approach towards soil foundation to be used in
construction projects. Foundation Analysis involves concepts from both Structural engineering and Geo technical engineering.
The STTP aims to provide the working knowledge on the Geo
technical characteristics of soil, variety of soil foundations necessary for different soil profiles, and all tools and techniques used for soil foundation engineering.
