OBJECTIVES:
Dear viewers MEPCO SCHLENK ENGINEERING COLLEGE Conducting Hands on training program. Organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering,
- To make known of rapid technological changes in the wake of privatization and globalization especially in the field of Rapid Manufacturing
- To familiarise rapid and virtual prototyping tools as a way to communicate design ideas.
- To provide hands-on training on Modeling Assembly Parts and Differential Printing using the 3D Printer Kit, Prototyping and Scaling of Models
COURSE CONTENTS
THE 3D PRINTING REVOLUTION
- History, Types, Materials & Applications of 3DP
- Why is it special? Future of 3D Printing
MODELING
- Basics (Orientation, Sketch, Sculpt, Model, Manage and Collaborate Assemblies, Rendering and Drawings)
- Form (Create Sketches, Create forms using T-Splines, Modeling solid bodies, Create surface bodies, Use images in a design)
- Function (Build assemblies, Inspect designs, Render designs, Animate designs, Simulate designs)
FABRICATION
- Manage (Manage workflow overview, Start with an empty design, About Data Panel, About Distributed Design Projects, Import files, Work with files and versions, Share and collaborate, Export data)
- 3D Printing (Expert Workshop on Rapid Prototyping using the 3D Printer Kit, Hands-on Training of Modeling Assembly arts and Differential Printing using the 3D Printer Kit, Prototyping and Scaling of Models)
