Eligibility:
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following: a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc. With two years of research experience – M.Tech / M.E. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Thermal, or Applied Mechanics Engineering. OR B.Tech with valid GATE score Or B.Tech with high CGPA from an institute of good NIRF rank. GATE score is a must. For candidates from NIT and IIT with CGPA greater than 8.5 the GATE score may be waived. Please note: In case of no experience, the candidate may be offered JRF position for a period of 2 years and will be upgraded to SRF upon successful completion of two years experiences. Strongly Desired: Knowledge in Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer, with an inclination toward CFD modelling, simulation, or sensor-based experimental thermal analysis.
Tenure of Project:Â 24 Months or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
