Eligibility:
M. E./M. Tech. in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Bio-medical Engineering, Biotechnology, Ceramics Engineering, or allied discipline or M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/Materials Science/ Life Sciences/ Mathematics from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale are eligible to apply for the JRF positions with valid GATE/ NET. For SC/ST/ PwD category, a minimum 55 %; marks or 6.0 CGPA on 10-point scale is
required with valid GATE/NET
Desirable Qualification: Exposure in computational science, computational materials engineering, materials thermodynamics, and simulation-based materials design will be an added advantage.
Tenure of Project:Â Five years from the date of commencement or till the project continues whichever is earlier
