 OBJECTIVE

           Dear viewers KONGU ENGINEERING COLLEGE The sessions will cover meticulous details on basic principles of medical imaging and how those are currently being used in clinical practice.

This workshop aims to cover the following,

• Bio-Medical imaging modalities and datasets
• Ultrasound Image Denoising
• Feature extraction techniques
• Segmentation Algorithms – Random walk, Active contour and Atlas based
• Classification algorithms – Random forest, Decision tree and Neural Network
• Image Registration and Image Fusion
• Introduction to Deep learning
• Hand-on training for medical image analysis
• Case Study – Pap smear and Lung image
