OBJECTIVE OF THE WORKSHOP
Dear Viewers KARPAGAM COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING Conducting National Level Workshop. Centre for VLSI Design and this workshop highlights to provide a comprehensive design flow on Digital IC design and Analog IC design using Cadence Tools.
The main objective of this workshop is to practice exercises in hands-on sessions using the Cadence tool which encounters the Digital Implementation system and Virtuoso Analog design environment.
The course builds core concepts to advanced level of simulation, synthesis, implementation and validation. This technically excellent program bridges the gap between College curriculum and Industry demand.
KEY CONTENTS OF THE WORKSHOP
- Introduction to Cadence and its various tools
- Analog design using Virtuoso platform
- Digital design flow using Encounter platform using Verilog and VHDL
- Introduction to Physical Verification, DRC/LVS by Assura.
- Extraction of RC Components and Generation of GDSII file
