Eligibility:

- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a Master’s Degree in Yoga from a recognized University/ Institution
- Preference will be given to candidates with M.P.Ed / B.P.Ed with Yoga specialization or M.Sc. Yoga / M.A. Yoga
- Certification from recognized bodies such as Ministry of AYUSH / Yoga Certification Board (YCB) is desirable
- Minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in relevant qualification
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in teaching/training yoga in educational institutions (relaxation may be considered for highly qualified candidates)
- Sound knowledge of yoga practices, pranayama, meditation, and wellness techniques
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to therapeutic yoga and mindfulness practices
- Experience in handling group sessions in educational institutions
- Energetic, disciplined, and student-friendly approach
Key Responsibilities:
1) Conduct daily/weekly yoga sessions for students, faculty, and staff Continuation Sheet…
2) Develop structured yoga modules focusing on physical fitness, mental wellness, and stress management
3) Organize yoga workshops, wellness programs, and special sessions during events
4) Train and prepare students for inter-collegiate, university-level, state, and national yoga competitions
5) Coordinate and accompany students for participation in competitions, events, and yoga demonstrations
6) Identify and mentor talented students for competitive and advanced yoga practice
7) Maintain records of student participation, achievements, and performance in competitions
8) Collaborate with Physical Education and other departments for holistic student development initiatives
9) Provide guidance on meditation, breathing techniques, and healthy lifestyle practices
10) Ensure safety, discipline, and engagement during all sessions
