About the Conference :
SCOPOSIS 2025 is a joint event that brings together the decadal edition of the Student Conference on Optics and Photonics (SCOP) and the 48th Optical Society of India Symposium (OSIS). This unique collaboration highlights the growth and importance of optics and photonics research across India and the world.
SCOP has long been an important platform for exchanging scientific ideas, enabling students, researchers, and scientists from various fields of optical sciences and technology to collaborate. SCOP is organised annually by the Optica Student Chapter at the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) in Ahmedabad for graduate students and early career researchers in India.
The annual symposium of the Optical Society of India is one of India’s flagship conferences in the field of optics and photonics, drawing renowned scientists and innovators to discuss scientific advancements, technological innovations, and related instruments.
