Objective of the Programme
Dear viewers Mepco Schlenk Engineering College conducting workshop. Optimization has experienced tremendous growth in the last two decades, and today, fundamental advances continue to occur at a furious pace.
Genetic Algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization and other recent techniques have emerged as potential and robust optimization tools in recent years. The proposed program will be centered on the
development and application of these modern trends in optimization.
Course Coverage
The indicative pool of topics to be covered is as follows but is not limited to:
- Introduction to Optimization Techniques
- Constrained and unconstrained deterministic linear and non-linear programming methods
- Neural Network (NN) Techniques
- Fuzzy optimization Techniques
- Genetic Algorithm (GA) based Optimization Techniques.
- Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) Technique
- Machine Learning Techniques
- Application of GA and PSO in various interdisciplinary real world problem
Eligibility
Faculty members, research scholars and Industry professionals and PG students from Engineering and Arts and Science Colleges.

Registration Fee
- Rs. 600/- for Academicians /Research Scholars and Rs. 500/- for PG Students Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of “Mepco Schlenk Engineering College” payable at Sivakasi. and it should be enclosed along with the registration form in the specified format.
- Lunch, Snacks and Registration kit will be provided to all the participants. Accommodation will be provided within the college campus on request at a nominal charge.
