Objective of the workshop:
Dear viewers Madras Veterinary College conducting workshop. This workshop is to furnish the participants with an understanding of the importance of tools in Bioinformatics in Computer Aided Drug Designing (CADD) and to provide ideas to design drugs using Bioinformatics
Contents
The broad areas to be covered during various sessions include theory lectures and practical demonstrations of the five days workshop which will be based on the following themes:
- Bioinformatics and its application in R&D
- Introduction to Genomics
- CADD resources
- Protein Modelling
- Molecular interaction and analysis
- Drug designing & ADMET property analysis
- Pharmacovigilance
