Organization Profile:Indian School Muscat, since its inception has grown steadily with a purpose. From humble beginnings in the year 1975 with 135 children the school today is the largest co-educational institution in the Gulf with over 9200 students. Indian School Muscat expresses a deep sense of gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, the benevolent ruler of the Sultanate of Oman. It was His Majesty’s magnanimous grant of land in Darsait that enabled the school to be established. The school imparts academic education in Science, Commerce and Humanities. SENIOR SECTION (PGT) – Educators having B.Ed. and Master Degree in the relevant subject with minimum 5 years of teaching experience in the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Computer Science and Hindi.
MIDDLE SECTION (TGT) – Educators having B.Ed. and Bachelor/Master Degree in the relevant subject with minimum 4 years of teaching experience in the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, French and Hindi.
PRIMARY SECTION (PRT) – Educators having B.Ed. and Bachelor/Master Degree in the relevant subject with minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Hindi. KINDERGARTEN SECTION – Educators having Montessori/ECCE/PPTTC/NTTC/B.Ed. and Degree/Master Degree with minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
BAND MASTER – Educators with the required qualification (Bachelor/Master Degree or Diploma in Instrumental Music) from the recognized institutions or universities and minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field. Candidates with relevant experience in Defence/Paramilitary or Police forces can also apply for the above position.
DANCE TEACHER – Educators with the required qualification (Bachelor/Master Degree in the relevant subject and any additional Diploma) from the recognized institutions or universities and minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
COUNSELLOR – Counsellors with the required qualifications (Master Degree in the relevant subject and any additional Diploma) and minimum 5 years of experience as counsellor in reputed public/international school.
Note: All the academic and professional qualifications must be obtained through regular mode of education.
