Organization Profile: The Vidya Prasarak Mandal (Regd.), an educational trust, was established on March 26, 1960, by Kannada-speaking linguistic minorities originally from Karnataka. Its initial purpose was to manage the Kannada Primary School, founded in 1957. In 1962, the trust expanded by establishing a Kannada High School. A decade later, an English Pre-Primary and Primary School was launched, which eventually grew into B.R. Tol English High School in 1976. The trust's growth continued with the establishment of a Junior College in 1991 and a Degree College of Arts, Science, and Commerce in 2003, which earned an ‘A’ grade in its first NAAC cycle.
