10th International Congress(ICCMS 2025) at IIT, Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Institution Name: Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Event Type: International Congress

Conference Name: 10th International Congress on Computational Mechanics and Simulations(ICCMS 2025)

Conference  Start Date: 17-12-2025

Conference  End Date: 19-12-2025

About Conference :

Under the auspices of the Indian Association for Computational Mechanics (IndACM), ICCMS is organized biennially. The association was founded on 1st January 2000 and has about 200 life members. The 9th ICCMS was held at Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. Computational Mechanics, being an interdisciplinary domain of mechanics, involving mathematical models of physical real-life problems and their solutions, the congress is typically attended by delegates with background in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials engineering/science, physics, mathematics and other disciplines.

Call for Papers:

Technical papers are invited from researchers, engineers and scientists working in any field of computational mechanics and simulation of real-life problems. The submission link will be available on the website by December 2024. Also, proposals are invited from the active
researchers for hosting mini-symposia during the ICCMS 2025.

Themes:

The conference invites contributions in the broad area of computational mechanics and simulations. Contributions can be submitted in following areas (but not limited to).

  • Biomechanics
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics and Transport Phenomena
  • Computational Geomechanics and Geotechnics, Natural Materials
  • Computational Structural Dynamics
  • Constitutive Modelling of Materials, Composites and Multifunctional Materials
  • Fracture and Failure Mechanics
  • Interfaces, Contacts and Interactions
  • Multiscale and Multiphysics Problems, Simulation
  • Numerical Methods and Algorithms in Engineering and Science
  • Simulation and Analysis under Accidental and Extreme Loadings
  • Structural Health Monitoring, Vibration Control
  • Structural Mechanics, Materials and Engineering
  • Uncertainty Quantification, Reliability Analysis
  • Application of Computational Techniques in Other Areas

Publication:

Full papers submitted and presented during the ICCMS 2025 will be published as part of the special proceedings of the Springer series ‘Lecture notes in Civil Engineering.’

Selected few papers based on the relevance will be considered for publication in the special issue of Journal ‘Mechanics of Advanced Materials and Structures’ (Q1) and ‘International Journal of Computational Methods’ (Q2). A few more journal issues are being planned and will be updated based on confirmation.

PhD thesis submitted in any Indian institute/university between January 2024 to November 2025 will be considered for best thesis award in Computational Solid Mechanics and Computational Fluid Mechanics domains. The graduates will be allowed to present their work in special PhD mini-symposium. The registration charges for such presenters will be waived off.
