Job Description:

Title of The Project Macromolecules interactions mediated via complex ionic solution

Vacancy Available Area:

• Physics

Eligibility:

Postgraduate degree in Physics with CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship or GATE.

Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of electrodynamics and statistical Physics. Basic knowledge of computational programming (Python or C++)

Project Info: To study the electrostatic interaction between macroions with the surrounding fluid when the fluid contains ions or poly-electrolytes by using computer simulation techniques

Job Info: The candidate will have to – (1) Study electrostatic interactions between charged macromolecules immersed in a complex solution. (2) Develop code and write scripts to study the effect of pH, concentration on interactions between molecules. (3) Writing and presenting research work in reputed journals/conferences

Tenure of Project:  8 months
