The Department offers a vibrant environment for undergraduate, postgraduate education and research in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The major areas of faculty expertise of the Department include Power Systems, High Voltage Engineering, Electrical machines and Drives, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Instrumentation, Signal Processing, Speech Signal Processing, Digital Signal Processing, Image Processing & Computer Vision, Communication Systems, Computer Networks, Multimedia Security, Radar Signal Processing, RF and Microwaves, VLSI Systems and MEMS. The Department is well equipped with modern laboratory facilities, which exposes the students to practical aspects of engineering problems.
