General Instructions for Candidates Applying for CVRDE Chennai Jobs:
- The applicants should ensure their eligibility criteria in respect of age, essential qualifications, etc.
- Only those candidates who have been awarded Degree/Provisional Certificate are eligible to apply.
- Those who were already awarded JRF position in any of the DRDO Laboratories/Centres earlier, are not eligible to apply again.
- No allied or equivalent engineering discipline is acceptable. Similarly, M.E (or) M.Tech Engineering discipline, relevant to their B.E / B.Tech Engineering discipline is only acceptable.
- Only candidates applied within the due date will be shortlisted & intimated for further written test and interview at CVRDE through mail.
- Shortlisted candidates only have to attend the written test and interview along with a copy of the intimation sent by CVRDE. g) Candidates are advised to refer DRDO website (https://drdo.gov.in) for updates issued from time to time.
- Applicants are advised not to change their registered mobile number and email, as vital information will be intimated through SMS / email.
- Candidates have to produce all certificates, in original, for verification before commencement of written test. One set of documents (self-attested) to be submitted during reporting time.
- Candidates are requested to bring one Photo Identity Card in Original like Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter Id etc at the time of interview.
- Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC Non-Creamy Layer are required to produce the original caste certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of Interview.
- Award of Fellowship shall not be claimed by any candidate as a matter of right. The selection of the candidate will be entirely the discretion of Director, CVRDE.
- The offer of Fellowship is purely temporary in nature for a limited period as per the rules in vogue and does not confer any right for absorption in DRDO.
- The candidate may be allowed to register for part-time Ph.D with any University / Institution during the tenure of the fellowship on approval of Director, CVRDE.
- The research fellowship may be terminated at any time during the tenure with a prior notice of one month. Fellows may resign with a prior notice of one month.
- CVRDE reserves the right to amend / modify or summarily cancel this advertisement.
- Dispute, if any, will be subject to the courts / tribunals having jurisdiction over Madras / Chennai (Tamil Nadu) only.
- Director, CVRDE reserves the full right to cancel the candidature without prior intimation.
