ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

          Dear viewers Bannari Amman Institute of Technology conducting National Level Workshop. The prime aim of the workshop is to facilitate  the participants in an elegant manner about the PSIM  and  provide  hands  on  sessions  related  to  the  simulation  circuits  for  various  topologies  of power converters.  This  course  encompasses  the  simulation  of  simple  and  basic  power  electronic  circuits.  It  will  highly help  the participants in developing models  for  their projects.

TOPICS TO BE COVERED

• Introduction of power electronic circuits 
• Introduction to PSIM 
• Hands‐on practice of PSIM simulations of  basic power electronics circuits  
• Simulation and analysis of single phase and three phase uncontrolled rectifier as a nonlinear Load. 
• Simulation of single phase and three phase inverters 
• SPWM (Sine Pulse Width Modulation) method for Three Phase Inverter.

ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION

Faculty  and  students  from  AICTE  approved Engineering  Colleges,  Polytechnics  and participants from Industries and R&D organizations can apply. The  selection  process  will  be  done  on  first come  first  served basis.

All the participants have to pay the registration fee by  Demand  Draft  drawn  in  favour  of  “The  Principal, Bannari  Amman  Institute  of  Technology”,  payable  at
Sathyamangalam.
