Job Description:
The selected candidate will work on a research project titled “Development of Design Methodology and BIS Language for Lattice Girder Deck Slab” sponsored by Tata Steel Limited. The role focuses on advanced research activities including numerical modelling and experimental testing of structural components. The candidate is expected to actively contribute to high-quality research outputs and project deliverables.

Eligibility:
Candidates must possess:
- M.Tech in Structural Engineering with minimum 6.5 CGPA or 65% marks
- Ph.D. in Civil Engineering
- Must have qualified GATE examination in past
Experience:
Candidates should have hands-on experience in:
- Numerical modelling of reinforced concrete structures
- Laboratory-based large-scale experimental testing
- Structural analysis and simulation
Job Responsibility:
- Perform numerical modelling of lattice girder deck slabs
- Conduct experimental testing in laboratory environments
- Analyze structural behavior and interpret results
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation
- Assist in achieving project milestones and deliverables
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in software such as ABAQUS, ETABS, MIDAS, STAAD Pro, SAP2000
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Technical report writing ability
- Knowledge of reinforced concrete structures
- Ability to work independently and in a research team
