About the Event:
SMART POWERTHON 2026 is an 8-hour technical hackathon focused on Power Systems and Solar Energy, scheduled for 6th October 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Knowledge Institute of Technology (KIOT), Salem. The hackathon is organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, KIOT, in association with the IEEE PES Students Branch, NIRT Renewable Energy, and AMBERZ – Electrical Engineer’s Association. Participants, in teams of up to 4 members, will work on innovative solutions related to Power Systems and Solar Energy and develop their ideas over the course of the hackathon.
