About the Event:
Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology is organizing “Viksit Bharat – Model Village Challenge: Reimagining Futuristic India for 2047,” a National Level Case Study Competition. This event is hosted by the School of Management Studies and Department of Civil Engineering. The event invites students to come up with fresh ideas for building better, future-ready villages as part of India’s vision for 2047. The competition will be held over two days, from 13 to 14 October 2026, at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, and offers a total prize money of ₹50,000 to the winning teams. Undergraduate students, postgraduate students, and research scholars are welcome to participate in teams of 2 to 5 members, and having a faculty mentor guide the team is optional.
