SAKTHI HACKFEST’26 is a national-level, 24-hour engineering hackathon hosted by Sree Sakthi Engineering College, Karamadai, taking place on October 10–11, 2026. Unlike typical hackathons that reward ideas alone, this one demands real, working prototypes you can actually ship. Your code gets reviewed by experienced engineers, your architecture gets scrutinized, and your final pitch is judged by industry leaders. It’s built for people who can perform under pressure, stand behind their technical choices, and deliver something usable — not just a concept.

THE CHALLENGE: This is not a conventional hackathon! Participants will not receive a problem statement at the beginning. Instead, you will be given a scenario, with clues revealed progressively throughout the event. The actual problem will emerge as the challenge unfolds. Want the problem statement early? You can have it — but there’s a catch. It comes at the cost of marks! And just when your solution starts taking shape, the rules may change. This hackathon is designed to challenge your ability to:

Who Can Participate: The hackathon is open to students from all colleges and all departments. All current undergraduate (B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA) and postgraduate (M.E., M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc) students currently enrolled in recognized colleges/universities are eligible. Valid college identity cards must be presented at the check-in desk.

Sree Sakthi Engineering College (Autonomous) was established in the year 2010 by Shri. N. Dharmalingam, Chairman, and Dr. S. Karthikeyan, Correspondent of Sree Sakthi Charitable Trust, with a noble vision to provide value-based, high-quality technical education to aspiring students from both urban and rural backgrounds. From its humble beginnings, the institution has grown steadily into one of the most promising centers for engineering education in Tamil Nadu, known for academic rigor, innovation, and a deep commitment to excellence. Situated in the scenic foothills of the Western Ghats, the college is located at Karamadai, just 25 kilometers from Coimbatore, along the Coimbatore–Ooty National Highway.
