Sri Krishna Institutions was founded by VLB Trust and Sri Krishna Trust. The promoters were pioneers in running Textile mills, foundry and automobile industry. Sri Krishna Polytechnic College was started by the trust in the year 1980. The trust also started Sri Krishna College of Technology, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Sri Krishna Arts and Science College and Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science.
The institutions are governed by Smt. S. Malarvizhi, the Chairperson and Managing Trustee and Sri. K. Adithya, the Trustee.
