Duration: The initial appointment will be given for six months and is extendable based on performance. This is also subject to the availability of the funds for the project (Total project duration of 3 years).
Essential Qualification:
- Graduate in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation with at-least 1 years of industry/research experience or M.Tech/ME/MS in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation or related areas.
- Qualified in any of the following points:
- GATE qualification
- National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies
and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc. - 2 years of professional experience
Desirable Qualification: This is a leadership position involving effective overall management of the project through its completion. Lead the project’s administrative aspects and coordinate team members’ activities to achieve desired results. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and support efficient project implementation. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is also desired. Strong interpersonal communication and excellent oral presentation, preparation of reports, and project-related correspondence with all the stakeholders. Strong background in academic setups. Coordination with internal stakeholders of the institute Preference will be given to the candidates’ working experience relevant to the project.
Candidates with expertise in the following areas are also strongly encouraged to apply:
- Expertise in circuit simulation using MATLAB, PLECS/PSIM
- Experience in digital control, digital communication, specifically in battery management system
- Desirable: Experience in electromagnetic simulation using ANSYS/COMSOL
- Leadership and management quality (experience in organizing workshop, seminars)
- Expertise in technical writing and research publication.
